I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Picking a new font
For this bracelet, I decided I wanted to go with the Arial Black font to give the 3D printer nice, thick letters to work with. The steps to change my text object to use Arial Black are:
- If necessary, switch to Object Mode and right-click to select your text object.
- In the Properties Window on the right-hand side of the screen, click on the F icon directly to the right of the wrench we have been using for Modifiers:
The F icon switches to Font properties
- Under the Font section next to Regular, click on the folder icon to load a font from a new file.
