So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Applying and placing the Intersection
Once you are satisfied, you can apply the modifier. By taking advantage of the Snap during transform icon you used in Chapter 9, Mesh Modeling and Positioning the Details, you can then move the texture to be flush with the rest of the house. Since you directly copied vertices, your newly-textured template should already be lined up with the front of the house along the X and Z axes. You will only have to adjust the Y axis.
The steps are:
- In Object Mode, right-click to select the object with the modifier. In the Properties Window, under the wrench icon, click the Apply button:
