I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Positioning the torus
Using the techniques of switching viewpoints from Chapter 2, Using a Background Image and Bezier Curves via the View menu, you can check to see how your newly added torus lines up with the rest of the pendant and what adjustments need to be made. As an example, the torus in the following image is not lined up appropriately when I look at the pendant from the side:
