Selecting edge loops

There may be a situation where you want to move or scale an entire ring of edges. Perhaps the Subdivision Surface Modifier shrunk my fingers and I want to scale them back up, or perhaps I have an edge loop I want to align with the actual joint of the finger. I could use the Ctrl and Shift keys to multiselect the edges I want. Blender also has the ability to select an entire edge loop in a single click.

The steps are as follows:

1. In Edit Mode, make sure you are in Edge Select mode.
2. Right-click on one edge in the ring you wish to select. Under the Mesh menu, go to Edges and select Edge Loops. Alternatively, you can hold down the Alt key and right-click on an edge in the ring:
