It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hiding the supporting object
Another way to preview the intersection is to hide the supporting object that doesn't change. That would be the stonework, in this example. Just like we did in Chapter 6, Cutting Half Circle Holes and Modifier Management, you simply turn off the eye icon in the Outliner window. Hiding the stonework provides a better look at our changed object:
