As you experiment with the Array Modifier and work with measurement settings, such as Fixed Length and Constant Offset, you may notice some unexpected results. The Array Modifier is set up to keep its proportions intact should you later resize and scale your original object. Blender achieves this by applying measurements such as Fixed Length to what the object would be at a perfect 1, 1, 1 scale. Blender will then multiply those numbers by the real, current scale of the object.
