I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Turning on and using 3D Print Toolbox
Blender also has a 3D Print Toolbox add-on that can help identify non-manifold and other 3D printing issues. It is not a necessity but can be helpful. You can turn it on simply by checking a box in Blender. The steps are:
- In the File menu at the top of the screen, click User Preferences:
Getting to Blender's User Preferences- Click the Add-ons tab at the top. Under Categories, pick Mesh:
