Making adjustments

Since you have not yet applied the modifier, you have the ability to make adjustments. If you don't like the placement of the stones, for example, you can scale or move the sheet of stonework until you get a look you like.

As you make adjustments to either object, Blender will recalculate the intersection in real time. This can be an intensive operation for Blender and cause delays or lags in your interface. You can better control when Blender makes those recalculations by turning the visibility of the modifier off during adjustments. The steps are as follows:

1. In Object Mode, right-click on the object with the modifier. With the current example, this is the template we made earlier in the chapter.
