When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Fixing proportions by updating scale
At this point, when I look at the pendant, it no longer looks like my background image. This is because our final dimension, the X (red) axis, is out of proportion with the Y (green) axis:

We can correct this by updating the scale of the X axis to match the Y axis. The steps are as follows:
- If necessary, switch to Object Mode and right-click on your object to select it.
- In the Properties Shelf, under the Transform section, look for Scale and click in the Y box. Hit Ctrl + C to copy that exact scale measurement to your computer clipboard.
- Click in the X box under Scale ...
