I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preliminaries
You will use ArcCatalog to copy Five_Islands.TIF from
[___]IGIS-Arc\Image_Data
to
___IGIS-Arc_YourInitials\Digitize&Transform
—actually making a total of three images of the TIF file.
____ 1. In ArcCatalog make a copy of the image data file Five_Islands.TIF by highlighting the name, pressing Ctrl-C, highlighting Digitize&Transform, and pressing Ctrl-V. Again highlight Digitize&Transform and press Ctrl-V. Do this once more. In the Digitize&Transform folder, you should now have Five_Islands.TIF, Five_IslandsCopy.TIF, and Five_IslandsCopy2.TIF.
