When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Numbering Each Stream Individually
____ 18. To individually designate each stream segment, use the Stream Link tool. This tool operates on the StrmChannels dataset, and it uses FlowDir2 as its flow direction raster. Call the new dataset StrmIDs, leave it on, and turn all other entries off. A large of individual stream segments have been produced. How many? ___________. Zoom in on a portion of StrmIDs and use the Identify tool to examine a few assigned numbers—found in the (Pixel) Value field. Click the Full Extent button to see the complete map. Open the attribute table of StrmIDs. Select the one with Value 189. How many cells make up that stream? _____. Check it out on the map with Zoom In. Clear selections. Close the table.
