The previous chapter on creativity offered some ideas for stimulating and encouraging creativity. In this chapter, I first provide definitions for decision making and problem solving and then describe and discuss six general principles that can be used in determining how to best help your group with this process. Next, I talk about the use of specific techniques and explain how the techniques covered in subsequent chapters are categorized.
