The room and space. Where is the session being held? How large is the room? Are there movable tables or desks? Is the room wired for technology? What are the arrangements for breaks and meals? Go to the site and look at the room if at all possible. Does the room have windows? Do the windows open? Is any noisy work scheduled close to this location? The temperature of the room could be an issue. Too hot, too cold, rarely does everyone agree. The rule is that too cold is preferable to too hot. If you haven’t personally experienced conference room temperatures, notice the number of veteran conference attendees who show up with heavy sweaters on even the hottest summer day.
