So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

• Group goal setting
This final techniques chapter focuses on the strategic planning process. Although strategic planning sessions are prevalent, they are not always popular because of the work involved and the feelings of “Didn’t we just do this?” and “What happened to our last plan?” The techniques included here might help this often-maligned process move more smoothly. First, a brief discussion of strategic planning.
