It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Techniques for Focusing on the Problem
Although we assume that groups understand the problems they face or are charged with solving, that is not always the case. Keeping groups from rushing to judgment is one of the most difficult jobs of a facilitator. This first technique focuses on identifying the root causes of a problem.
