Issues related to values and ethics permeate the role of the small group facilitator. A facilitator works for and with a group and, as such, makes decisions that are in the best interest of that group. In this chapter, I discuss values that guide the facilitator role, ethical guidelines for decision-making groups, and specific ethical concerns mentioned by a group of practicing facilitators.
