Encouraging Group Involvement and Ownership
If a supportive climate has been established, barriers to participation have been reduced. Involvement can be further encouraged by the procedures and techniques discussed in the previous chapter. Choose ground rules and techniques that reduce domination of the groups by one of two members. From Chapter 5, model verbal and nonverbal communication practices that encourage individual members to speak up and offer their ideas and suggestions.
