What Is Geographic Targeting??
AdWords allows you to choose where your ads will be displayed. This is useful if you want to show a different message in different locations, set different budgets by location, or optimize your spending based on returns from different geographies.
The benefit for location-based companies, such as a New York dentist or the Best Buy in Fargo, is fairly obvious: you reach only consumers who will travel to your business location. Therefore, a plumber in San Francisco or a pizza delivery company in Dallas only needs to show their ads to those who are in their business area.
