Best Practices for Utilizing Profitable Bid Strategies

Every single ad group must have a bid associated with it. You can set bids at the keyword, ad group search, ad group content, or placement level. However, a bid must exist for your ad to be shown. What is important is not just bidding to the top position, but bidding based on the profit your AdWords account is making your company. By following these best practices, you should be able to set bids based on conversion metrics:
