WebGLは、ブラウザ上で3Dグラフィックスを表示するための標準技術
です。専用のソフトウェアをインストールすることなく、Webブラウザ上
で誰でも閲覧することができます。
まずは、「WebGL3Ddemos」や「WebGLexamples」などのキーワード
を検索エンジンに入力してみてください。
さまざまなWebサイトやブログがWebGLを使った 3D グラフィックスの
デモを公開しています。中にはゲームやアートプロジェクト、データビジ
ュアライゼーションなど、多様なジャンルの作品を見ることができます。
気になる作品があれば、実際に操作してみましょう。マウスやキーボー
ドを使って、3Dシーンをナビゲートしたり、オブジェクトを動かしたり
することができます。
3Dグラフィックスの表現力や、アニメーションの滑らかさを直接体感
してみてください。下記のWebGLを利用して作成されたさまざまな作品
が公開されているサイト「WebGLSamples」を活用してみるのもよいで
しょう。
