This is the average time of the session. That is, the average time users spend on our website.

For a site where the content is massive and dynamic, this metric is fundamental. For an e-commerce, the average session time can help to understand the decision process of a purchase by the users, the ease of use and understanding of our site. Very high session times with very low conversion rates may indicate that the purchase process is a hindrance to usability. If, in addition, we check very high departure rates on our cart page, we can start thinking about reviewing the experience of using our checkout process.
