Bounce rate/Bounce rate

The bounce rate measures the ratio of users who left the website having visited only the page we are tracking. In other words, the bounce rate of our contact page measures the percentage of users who arrived directly here and, without having visited any other section of our site, they left.

It is used to measure the level of engagement of a landing page (landing page). For websites with only one page (not even a thank you page), the bounce rate will always be 100% and, in that case, we will not be able to use this metric in our decision making.
