Configuring WAN serial links
WAN links are generally used on serial interfaces and use different data link layer encapsulations depending on the type of the SP backbone. We will consider two types of encapsulations in this section: an encapsulation used for a 1:1 mapping of a physical to a logical link, and another for multiplexing multiple logical links into a single physical link.
