Running an Automatic Repair in Windows

If Windows is having trouble loading, one option is to run an automatic repair. In cases like this, certain Windows start-up or system files may become lost or corrupted. The automatic repair attempts to analyze your Windows environment to determine why the operating system is not loading properly. Automatic repair is an option in the Advanced Boot Options menu. If Windows fails to load, it should automatically attempt a repair, or at least direct you to the Options menu where you can run a repair yourself. If Windows is intermittently not loading properly and you are able to boot up, you can boot into the Options menu from Windows and run the automatic repair manually. This task explains how to run an automatic repair from the Advanced Boot Options menu.
