Windows Server 2012 Design Decisions
As the previous section mentioned, the key Windows Server 2012 design decisions should be recorded in the design document. This is perhaps the most important section of the document because it defines how Windows Server 2012 will be configured and how it will interact with the network infrastructure.
Decisions should have been made about the hardware and software needed for the migration. They should take into account whether the existing hardware will be used in the migration, upgraded, left in place, or retired.
