A replication collision is an inaccuracy in replicated information that takes place because of changes that are enacted on the same object, but before that change has been replicated to all DCs. For example, if an administrator resets a user’s password on Server1, and another administrator resets the same user’s password on Server2 before Server1 has had a chance to replicate that change, a replication collision will occur.
