It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deploying a Clone Virtualized DC
One of the most interesting and useful improvements to AD DS in Windows Server 2012 is the ability to deploy virtual DCs from virtual machine templates. This greatly reduces the overall time it takes to deploy a new AD DS DC, particularly in those environments with a very large number of AD objects.
