Installing Services for Network File System

The installation of Windows Server 2012 UNIX Integration for Windows Server 2012 is as simple as adding specific server roles to a server using the Add Roles Wizard. The individual components can be installed as part of different roles added to the server. For example, to add the Services for NFS role, simply add the File Services role to a server as follows:

1. From Server Manager, click Manage – Add Roles and Features.

2. Click Next at the Before You Begin screen.

3. Choose a Role-Based or Feature-Based Installation and click Next.

4. Select the server from the server pool where the component will be installed and click Next.
