Configuring BitLocker Drive Encryption is not as simple as clicking through a few screens on a Windows Server 2012 wizard. A number of prerequisite steps must be fulfilled before BitLocker can be configured and implemented. Several of the requirements are applicable only when encrypting a boot or operating system volume.
