So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to Configure the Windows Management Pack
With OpsMgr 2012, the MP can be downloaded and imported directly from the Web Catalog. The location in the catalog is Microsoft Corporation\Windows Server\Core OS\. There are eight MPs and also additional language versions.
After downloading and installing this MP, usually the default location of the MP files is located in C:\%Program Files%\System Center Management Packs\Windows Server Base OS System Center Operations Manager 2012 MP\.
Note
When installing the MP via executing the downloaded MP source file (usually an MSI), content of the MSI is expanded into the default installation directory. Executing the MSI does not import the MP into Operations Manager.
