So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Outlining SharePoint 2010 Requirements
SharePoint 2010 designs can range from single-server installations to multiple servers that make up a SharePoint farm, or even multiple farms that share different components and features. Basic server configurations may consist of “single server installations,” which may meet the requirements of smaller organizations, whereas larger organizations typically configure multiserver environments, which include web servers, and application servers.
