Collecting Server Data

Server data collection will occur on a scheduled basis, as will event log collection. This is controlled by the default schedule set on the seven tasks, which can be view using the Task Scheduler console, as shown in Figure 11.37.

When data collection needs to be forced, you can do so as follows:

1. Log on to the IPAM server or a server with the IPAM client tools installed and the IPAM server added to the server pool in Server Manager.

2. Click the Server Manager tile on the taskbar.

3. Click the IPAM link in the tree pane to display the IPAM console.
