I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Extending Server Backup to the Enterprise with Data Protection Manager 2012
Windows Server 2012 includes a very powerful backup tool with Windows Server Backup. However, this built-in tool lacks many features when it comes to managing the backup of multiple servers and different applications. Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 fills the gaps where Windows Server Backup comes up short. For example, Data Protection Manager 2012 includes support for tape backup and tape libraries, disk-to-disk-to-tape backup and cloud-based backup services provided by Microsoft online services and by third party Microsoft partners.
