When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Storage Spaces and Storage Pools
Storage Spaces is a new Windows Server 2012 service that enables the pooling of storage on a server to deliver essentially virtual disks to the server operating system. Unlike VHD or VHDX virtual disk, which is a file on single volume, and unlike a striped or fault-tolerant volume that requires several dynamic disks, Storage Spaces leverages storage pools and allows administrators to create and present a single virtual disk that can reside on a single or several windows disks. Storage pools can be easily extended to include new disks and can be created in fault tolerance or resilient configurations. Another great feature is that a storage pool can be configured as a thin provisioned pool that will grow as necessary. ...
