When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Verifying the Client-Side Configuration
Make sure that the Windows 8 client that is connected to the network was assigned an IP from the DHCP scope before making the scope NAP enabled and implementing the Group Policy settings on the domain. In addition, make sure it can access network resources on the network.
To verify that the NAP has been implemented on the client end, follow these steps:
1. From the command prompt, run ipconfig /all. (For example, if you are using the DHCP scope range from 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.40 with the subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and your client was assigned 192.168.1.20, you will see your subnet mask as 255.255.255.0).
