When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting Proper Registry Permissions
The installation of the proper components creates special Registry keys, but leaves them disabled by default for security reasons. One of these is the AllowPasswordExport value. You need to enable this Registry key on the source domain to allow passwords to be exported from the Password Export Server. The following procedure outlines the use of the Registry Editor to perform this function:
1. On the PES DC in the source domain, open the Registry Editor (Start, Regedit).
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA.
3. Double-click the AllowPasswordExport DWORD value.
4. Change the properties from 0 to 1 (Hexadecimal).
5. Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
6. Reboot the machine ...
