I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running a Backup to a Shared Network Folder
Windows Server Backup on Windows Server 2012 supports backups to a shared network folder. When a shared network folder is chosen as the backup destination, a system administrator can store full backups on alternate locations to allow for different recovery scenarios. Also, something important to consider is that if a dedicate disk or specific folder on a local volume is selected and is the only backup option, this offers no automated offsite backup. Using a shared network folder can enable offsite backup if the destination system is located in a remote datacenter or if that central server replicates its storage data offsite.
