Installing the BitLocker Drive Encryption Feature
Now that the system partition has been configured, there are different ways to install BitLocker. Install it during the initial configuration through Server Manager or through a command prompt. The next sections illustrate how to execute both of these installations.
Installing BitLocker with Server Manager
To install the BitLocker feature on a Windows 2012 server using Server Manager, follow these steps:
1. Log on to the server with a privileged account and navigate to the Server Manager utility.
2. Click Manage in the upper-right corner and select Add Roles and Features.
3. On the Before You Begin page, click Next.
4. Select Role-Based or Feature-Based Installation and click Next.
