When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing the Network Load Balancing Feature
Before an NLB cluster can be created, the feature needs to be installed on all servers that will participate in the cluster. To install the Network Load Balancing feature, follow these steps:
1. Log on to each Windows Server 2012 system with an account that has local administrator rights.
2. Open Windows PowerShell from the taskbar.
3. In the Windows PowerShell window, type in Add-WindowsFeature NLB and press Enter. This command installs the Network Load Balancing feature.
4. In the Windows PowerShell window, type in Add-WindowsFeature RSAT-NLB and press Enter. This command installs the NLB tools. Perform this step only on the desired nodes and on any additional administrative systems that will be ...
