Adrian Frutiger (b. 1928) is one of the most
prolific typographers of the twentieth century
and the designer of some of the most notable
typefaces ever to be created during the modern
era. He has created more than 175 typefaces,
many of which have become notable fonts such
as Univers (1957) and Frutiger (1976). He also
was one of the first type designers to create
type for film and photocomposition.
