Completed in 2008, the New York Times Build-
ing is a 52-story, 1,046-foot- (319 m) high,
1,540,000-square-foot (143,070 sq m) tower
on the west side of midtown Manhattan in
New York City. The building was designed by
architects Renzo Piano Building Workshop (est.
1981) and houses its main tenant, the New York
Times Company, publisher of the New York
Times, the Boston Globe, and the International
Herald Tribune.
