The Lucent Technologies Center for Arts Educa-
tion in Newark, New Jersey, is an arts education
school affiliated with the New Jersey Perform-
ing Arts Center (NJPAC). Directly adjacent to
the NJPAC site, the school’s masonry edifice
was originally constructed in the early 1940s
and covers an area of about 30,139 square feet
(2,800 sq m).
