Since the 1920s, the Dutch postal and telecom-
munications authority or PTT has been a avid
supporter of twentieth-century graphic design
and therefore has had a strong visual presence
throughout the Netherlands. Their new graphic
program, influenced by the tenets of de Stijl
and constructivism, was designed by Studio
Dumbar (est. 1977) to mark the company’s
