Using the Word 2000 Fax Wizard

An easy way to prepare and send a fax is to use Word's built-in Fax Wizard, which walks you through the process. (This is a different fax wizard than the one built into Windows 95 and 98.)

Using Word's Fax Wizard, you can send either a fax cover sheet only or a document (with or without a cover sheet), using the Windows fax software you have already installed.

To use Word 2000's Fax Wizard:

1. Edit and save the document you want to fax.

2. Choose File, Send To, Fax Recipient. Word 2000's Fax Wizard opens.
