Revnum
The REVNUM field inserts the number of times the document has been revised (re-saved), as stored in the Statistics tab of the Properties dialog box.
Syntax
{ REVNUM \* FormattingSwitch }
Switches
REVNUM supports sequence formatting switches (see the section earlier in this chapter, "Sequence Formatting Switches"), and numeric formatting switches (see the section earlier in this chapter, "Numeric Formatting Switches").
Examples
To insert the total number of times the document has been saved, using ordinal format (for example, FifthDraft), use the following field:
