The Eq field inserts a formatted mathematical equation in your document.
Note
Microsoft encourages you to use the Equation Editor 3.0 applet rather than the EQ field. In fact, when you double-click an EQ equation, if Equation Editor is installed, Word converts the equation to Equation Editor format.
