Date

The Date field displays the current date and/or time on your computer's system clock.

Syntax

{ DATE [\@ "Date-Time Picture" [Switches] }

Switches

Switch	What It Does
\l	Uses whatever date/time format you chose most recently in the Insert, Date and Time dialog box.

Also supports date/time formatting switches (see the section earlier in this chapter, "Date/Time Formatting Switches").

Examples

To insert the current date in the format Tuesday, March 8, 1999, enter the following field:
