The SEQ field enables you to create sequences of figures, tables, or anything else. These sequences remain in accurate numerical order throughout the document, regardless of editing changes you make in the document.
Tip
Using Word's Insert, Cross-Reference and Insert, Caption dialog boxes is often a faster way to create sequences such as these.

| Switch | What It Does |

| \c | Repeats the sequence number stored in the nearest preceding sequence. You can use this to make sure that a figure number and its nearby text reference stay in sync. |
