Project: Creating an Image and Combining It with Edited Clip Art
In this project, you'll walk through the real-world process of creating a logo for a dog- training company called "Have Dog? Will Travel!" The logo superimposes an image of a dog—borrowed from Word's clip art library—on a suitcase you'll create.
Step #1: Create the outline of the suitcase.
Display the Drawing toolbar, and use the Rectangle tool to create a rectangle for the suitcase's box. Next, from AutoShapes, Basic Shapes, choose the Block Arc button, and draw a handle. Resize it and drag it to the top of the box. You now have the outline of your suitcase.
