Advance

Moves the starting point of text to the left or right, up or down, or to a specific location on the page.

Note

Microsoft recommends that you avoid using the ADVANCE field, and instead use text adjustment commands available in these three dialog boxes on the Format menu: Font, Paragraph, and Tabs.
